Born in a family of traditional Astrologers, K .JAYA SEKHAR was initiated into Vedic Astrology, as well as other psychic subjects at a very early age by his father, immediately after graduation from Madras University in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry he became a professional Astrologer. He has been the President of the Institute of Astrological Studies, Chennai (Madras) the Vice-President of the Institute of Indian Astrology, Calcutta and Research Directors of the Astrological Section of Bharat Nirman, New Delhi. He has presented papers given conferences and conducted workshops, on varied subjects such as Palmistry, Numerology, Vastu, Hindu Philosophy, Chakras and Yoga, Ayurvedic way to health and longevity. He has been invited by various cultural and professional associations including the British Association of Vedic Astrologers and American College of Vedic Astrology. He has also contributed several articles on Astrology ad related subjects to magazine in India and aboard such as the Journal of the Astrological Association of Great Britain and Terre Du Ciel, of France. He has visited United States, United Kingdom, France, Switzerland, Germany, Poland, Australia, Austria, Italy, Sri Lanka and Singapore.
