About the Author

Born in 1939 in a North Indian Brahmin family, J N Sharma perhaps may be the only Vedic Astrologer today who is totally and single-mindedly committed to Prashna or Horary. He retired from the Department of Agriculture in the Government of India in 1997, where he worked on different posts for many years. Sharma took to Vedic Astrology in 1980 and was very fortunate to study with a legendary teacher Late K.G. Dutta, a master of Prashna technique in his own right. From 1988 onwards Sharma has been teaching Prashna in the classes organized by the Indian Council of Astrological Sciences in Delhi. Currently, he has retired from active teaching though he is readily available to his students for any of their astrological queries. For his contribution to the growth of Vedic Astrology, he has been awarded Jyotish Kovid, Jyotish Vachaspati, Jyotish Bhushan, and Jyotish Sudhakar. Sharma is much respected and known for his brilliant and amazing predictions by the Jyotish Community in the world. He is happily married with two grown-up children, and further with grandchildren.
