ABOUT THE BOOK 

Of the three system of astrology-Parasari,Jaimini and Tajika (Annual Horoscopy), the later has been found as an important aspect of Hindu Astrology in delineating annual result very accurately, solely and as a complimentary to Parasari system. Although the aspects and the terminology used in some of the divisional charts and Tajik Yogas is akin to those used by Greeks and Arabians, it does not mean that Hindu Astrologers like Kesava and neelaknatha were not awere of Varshakundali. In olden days of Mercantilism, when free exchange of goods and services dominated the trade, the exchange of knowledge can not be ruled out. it, is therefore, immaterial for us whether the Tajikashastra originated in Greek and Arabian countries or in India but it is generally used by Hindu Astrologers despite its being western oriented.
