INTRODUCTION

Since the beginning of man's journey on earth, man has been trying to find answers to the question what he really is. For centuries, the man has been seeking answers to the

following questions ) What is life!

(i) When it begins and where it ends?

(i) What happens to the Soul when it leaves the body

after death?

(iv) Is there another world!

(v) Does the Soul remember its previous life if he enters into another body or is it reborn in the form of another life?

The Seers and Godmen all over the world from every religious faith have tried to give answers to these questions in accordance with their own belief and understanding and have arrived at various conclusions. In Hindu religious

thinking, there are two basic propositions which are being put forth and discussed for ages.

According to one philosophy known as Advaita, there is no scope for different gods and goddess and the soul is taken as part and participle of Universe that is Cosmos or Supreme Consciousness.

Another school of thought denoted as Advaita, believes in dual philosophy according to which the gods are personified into life form and are the origin of creation of this world.
